Medical imaging software developer MeVis Medical Solutions of Bremen, Germany, has acquired a minority stake in quantification software provider Medis Medical Imaging Systems of Leiden, Netherlands.
With products designed to analyze cardiovascular images, Medis will help expand MeVis' portfolio of software for early detection, diagnosis, and intervention in the areas of cancer, lung diseases, and neurological conditions.
Medis is expected to benefit from MeVis' multimodality technology platform and research capabilities. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
