Dutch diagnostic imaging, outpatient, and cancer care services provider Affidea has acquired Centro Diagnostico Cernaia (CDC Group), an outpatient medical provider in the Piedmont region of northern Italy.
Affidea said that with the deal its European network will now include 308 centers, with about 11,000 professionals treating 10 million patients every year. Affidea has added more than 125 new centers to its network over the past five years.
The CDC Group is a family business with a 50-year history and will maintain its leadership in the Piedmont area, the companies said in a statement. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
