German Roentgen Society (DRG) member Prof. Reinhard Loose, PhD, of the University of Erlangen, has received Germany's prestigious First Class Cross of Merit award for his many years of service in the field of radiation protection.
Prof. Reinhard Loose, PhD.Loose has served as chief physician at the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Klinikum-Nord in Nuremberg, contributed to the German Commission on Radiological Protection of the country's Federal Ministry for the Environment, and was also part of the radiation protection subcommittee of the European Society of Radiology, the society said.
