Researchers from Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf are launching a study to examine precisely how fair awards are in medicine and science.
Under the auspices of its Institute for Occupational, Social, and Environmental Medicine and its Institute for the History, Theory, and Ethics of Medicine, the university is inviting participants to consider key factors to receiving a scientific award; weigh in on how fair scientific awards in medicine actually are; and to assess any differences between women and men when it comes to awarding scientific prizes.
For further details about the survey (in German), you can follow this link. It will take around 5-7 minutes to complete, the authors stated.
