The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) has named Sally Edgington as its new director of education, effective on 19 September.
Sally Edgington.Edgington will take the lead on the development, management, delivery, and promotion of the BIR's face-to-face and digital educational activities for the U.K. and worldwide radiology community.
Edgington most recently served for four years as chief executive at AXREM, the trade association representing the suppliers of diagnostic medical imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT, and care equipment in the U.K.
Edgington replaces Dr. Sarah Adibi, who was in the role for the past 12 years.
