Canadian x-ray manufacturer KA Imaging has received the CE Mark for its Reveal Mobi Lite mobile x-ray system, which is now available for sale across the European Union.
The Reveal Mobi Lite mobile imaging system, integrating SpectralDR technology and the Reveal 35C x-ray detector, which recently gained attention as part of the SpaceXray Project on the Fram2 mission, according to the vendor.
The Mobi Lite system was designed for easy mobility within healthcare facilities, KA Imaging said in a statement, emphasizing its usefulness for imaging in the intensive care unit.
KA Imaging also noted that ongoing studies are exploring the use of the Reveal 35C detector for applications such as coronary calcium visualization and bone density measurement. The technology is not yet cleared for these uses.
