Ultrasound artificial intelligence (AI) and simulation software developer Intelligent Ultrasound Group has registered its ScanNav Anatomy: Peripheral Nerve Block (PNB) software with the U.K.'s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
As a result, the company said it will be formally launching ScanNav Anatomy: PNB into the U.K. market at this week's Regional Anaesthesia United Kingdon (RA-UK) annual scientific meeting. Intelligent Ultrasound Group received the CE Mark in April for the AI-based product, which is designed to assist healthcare professionals who perform ultrasound-guided procedures on a less-frequent basis.
