Dutch-based artificial intelligence (AI) company Thirona closed a financing round with funding to expand operations and scale up development efforts.
The fundraising was led by Belgian investment fund HERAN Partners and the Borski Fund in the Netherlands.
Thirona's flagship product is LungQ, software that has helped the company build a track record as an expert partner for pharmaceutical companies and help advance treatment development in clinical trials, as well as support pulmonary clinical care across the globe, Thirona said.
