Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Oxipit's ChestLink software for chest x-rays has received the CE Mark.
ChestLink analyzes chest x-ray exams and is designed to identify images that most likely do not contain abnormalities, generating reports without any involvement from a radiologist, according to the vendor. The software is designed to automate the workflow of chest x-rays that would appear normal to any given radiologist, Oxipit said.
The software also provides users with an analytics page that includes real-time updates and daily summaries for cases with autonomously generated reports. The vendor said that ChestLink has processed more than 500,000 chest x-rays in real-world testing at multiple pilot locations over more than a year, producing 99% sensitivity and no clinically relevant errors.
ChestLink received CE Class IIb certification, Oxipit said.
