Medical University Innsbruck has become the first medical center in Austria to begin treating patients with the Elekta Versa HD radiation therapy system, according to radiation oncology firm Elekta.
Treatment times are reasonable due to the system's higher dose rate, allowing the facility to schedule its current caseload of 23 patients per day, the company said.
