Image display firm Barco has identified a new CEO who will take up the position later in the year.
The company's current CEO, Eric Vane Zele, plans to retire later this year. In anticipation of his retirement, Barco has appointed Jan De Witte as CEO-designate. He will join the firm's leadership team in June and begin his CEO duties in October.
De Witte recently served as president and CEO of GE Healthcare's global healthcare IT division. Prior to GE, he spent five years at management consulting firm McKinsey & Company in Brussels, Amsterdam, and Zurich.
