Artificial intelligence (AI) luminary Yann LeCun, PhD, will present the inaugural 2022 Ernst Presidential Lecture at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) Annual Meeting in London on 11 May.
Considered to be one of the "Godfathers of Deep Learning," LeCun teaches at New York University. In 2018, he received the Association for Computing Machinery Turing Award for his work.
The lecture is named after Richard Ernst, PhD, who passed away in June 2021. Ernst received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1991 for his work on Fourier transform nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
